Currently, telecommunication and telemetry systems have found a special place in various industries, including oil, gas, water, etc., due to the wide industry, as well as the need to transfer information and create networks monitoring and control in this facility, but on the other hand, due to the wide network, there are areas that the use of radio and satellite systems is not feasible or economical ( in the areas that are impassable and far from telecommunication facilities such as oil and gas wells and pipelines, etc.). Therefore, the necessity of using such telemetry and telecommunication systems is rising increasingly. in order to solve the above problems, in the MAZID group, we have presented a solution to use the pipes as a line for telecommunication, we could provide a system to transmit the desired data by using the existing oil and gas pipes in the industries.
Therefore, the PLT system is a telemetry system to monitor and control with a difference that it uses the existing metal pipes wall in the oil and gas industry to create a communication link.
The use of this system in impassable areas (such as mountainous and desert areas) has special importance and it can measure the different parameters online and offline at long distances because this system is independent of other networks like GSM, thus, it does not require the establishment of BTS and transfers the data from existing pipes and from this point of view, it could obtain the special place in the field of telemetry.
